Words from the artist: “Written all within Covid-19 UK lockdown period, this EP was for me a chance to capture, vent and direct my frustrations and observations. I wanted to try and use the surreal dystopian situation we find ourselves in, to play into each track. I think each one differs according to the way I was reacting to lockdown on the day I sat down to write. Isolate I wrote at the start of lockdown, a piece meant initially for a film or TV. Pipe Up I wrote a few weeks later, probably at peak cabin fever point. Thirds was more recent, just bottled up energy that was meant for a dance floor now closed.” Kincaid
