Inside Out Records Showcase – Launch Party
Saturday 20th April, Inside Out Records is taking over one of the most famous east London venues, 1001 to celebrate the launch of their record label.
The first release is Stevie R – Painkiller EP coming soon on vinyl including remixes from Ted Alexander, Nick Devon, JMP & DJ Freespirit.
You will be able to enjoy dj sets from Ted Alexander, Nick Devon /w the label’s bosses Alex Zed and Stevie R on the night. Along with them will be Ian Mckenzie, who doesn’t need much introduction, playing live percussion.
Expect to hear minimal electronic music from deep house to techno.

About The Artists:
TED ALEXANDER
Born in the UK, Ted spent most of his formative years abroad, first in New York where he became a fanatic of the rock scene and then as a student in Canada, where he began his love affair with contemporary electronic music. Deciding to return to London to focus his energies on production, Ted is finally, after several years hard graft, starting to taste the fruits of his labours, with releases out on Life and Death, Moodmusic, Stem Records and InsideOut Records to name a few.
As a producer and performer Ted looks to infuse the deep melodic tones with dynamic excitable percussion. Although he remains relatively unknown to many within the industry 2013 and beyond should be seeing and hearing much more from him.
NICK DEVON
Nick Devon counts more than 15 years in electronic dance scene. with numerous releases in trance and progressive scene as the name Cyan and Suntrigger.
Nick Devon is now working on his solo project dedicated in Deep House, Tech House, Nu Disco and Techno tracks with releases in labels such as 3AM, Rhythemtic, Savoir Faire Musique, Body Rhythm, InsideOut Records, Elite Records, The Sound Of Everything ,AK TEK records, UnderGoundCITY , Cromarti Records and Nightbird.
Being a self trained and music engineering experienced person, Nick Devon tries to find out new waves in Dance scene, trying to produce non easy listening tracks but not compromising the quality and the feeling.
ALEX ZED
DJ & Producer Alex began his adventure into music at the age of 14 when for the first time he stepped inside a record shop. Born in a small town in the south of Italy, Alex felt a very strong connection with music from the very beginning, watching spinning vinyl’s, listening to their crystal sound, kick drum and bass line made him want to try his chances.
At the age of 18 he had already affirmed his name playing in the local clubs of his hometown, and decided to develop his talent in the capital of club music, London. His debut was in 2003 at the Mass club in Brixton, were he played aside Mauro Picotto, Dave the Drummer, Marco Lenzi and Chris Liberator and released on, Molecular Recordings, AuthenticBit, DancePush and Inside Out Records.
Shortly after international music entrepreneurs have noticed his mixing skills and Alex was invited to play at the finest clubs including The City, Cancun – Transit, Philadelphia – The Vagabond, Miami as well as numerous venues across Europe.
STEVIE R
Stavros Potamitis was born in 18th September of 1988 and has always had a great interest in music. Introduced to classical music from an early age playing guitar and piano, he moved on to rock sounds during his late childhood and for 6 years now, is pursuing his at most desire as an electronic music producer.
Stavros made his first steps in electronic music by being a DJ in many Greek clubs, culminating in his playing in top tier Greek clubs; Mommy, Animal in Athens and Cavo Paradiso in Mykonos to name a few. He has also organised several parties for various good clubs, collaborating with the best domestic DJs and many important foreign artists of the field. He also reached the quarter-finals for in a greek competition for upcoming DJs.
His interests in electronic music were not saturated through being a successful DJ and organiser. While in Greece, he also released tracks with established labels like the New York based Plant Music. After graduating from the Network Technologies in University of Peloponnese, he made a new start by coming to London, UK to study as a producer in the famous Point Blank music school under successful musicians, like Danny J Lewis, Ian McKenzie and Chris Franck. While in London, Stavros has been involved in the founding of a new label, Inside Out Records, and has collaborated with important names of the field he admired in remixes and EPs that will soon be released.
Regarding his work as a producer, Stavros’s style is based on deep house sounds and draws elements from various genres. His principal focus in production is professionalism of the result and artistic depth of each track, giving his style distinct characteristics and a unique flavour. Some of his tracks have been played successfully and his music has been selected for a TV series by the large US channel HBO.
