Elijah Simmons came from space.
He currently lives in London, where he produces house and techno infused with new age and afro cues. His tracks travel across the scene’s big centres the world over, from Sonar Festival in Barcelona to Panorama Bar in Berlin, while they are being supported by DJs such as Solomun and Red Axes. His first release came when Blond:ish found his track Otavio’s Dream randomly in some corner of the internet and decided to release it as part of the Flying Circus compilation they were putting together at the time. Soon after, his first single EP landed on Michael Mayer’s legendary Kompakt imprint, following up with remixes and originals on KX and the Marseillaise Biologic. While his discography continues to grow, as a DJ he continues to establish himself as a dynamic and diverse selector, representing a deep collection of all walks of house, with evident touches of psychedelia and a generous dose of left turns.
